Reviews
I've come around on this restaurant, by a lot. They have insanely high quality food, at a totally reasonable price. Their menu options are bountiful, and they're accommodating with anything you ask. Which brings me to the OUTSTANDING service! Most of these employees feel like they've worked here decades. They're super friendly, they're checking up on you, and they're just overall outstanding enough to have relationships with my parents. (Who are regulars.) I like the atmosphere, it's pleasant and simple. There's tons of room for people to sit, and an entire big parking lot in the back. I can't get enough of this place. I'll be back for more great food from great employees in a great environment.
This is now the best Ruben sandwich in the Kelso/Longview area (since the previous best no longer makes Rubens -- no reason why). The staff is very friendly, and the place is always welcoming. We eat here whenever we get a chance -- at least once a week, love this restaurant, wish they did dinner.
Impromptu drop in with a couple of friends after shopping nearby: I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that was written as a special on the blackboard upon entry. The service was prompt & friendly- our lemon waters brought quickly & actually beautifully done with 2 thin slices per glass, like on a mandolin type slices vs knife cut slices. The bacon for my cheeseburger was done just like I ordered: extra extra crispy & on the side. Another positive. My sides were both very good: the beer cheese soup which was mild of beer flavor & the home cut fries- NumO! The cheeseburger itself was good as well. The service was prompt & friendly. The ambiance artsy & fun to spend time walking around to look at. Definitely an enjoyable, family friendly place to dine.
The service was beyond excellent, accommodating every vegetarian (but not vegan) request. In addition the family atmosphere enhanced the wonderful experience. The Garden Burger with avocado and without a bun, with a side salad was very tasty. The Reuben sandwich that I had was amazing, the best I've had since the one at the Hawk'n'Dove in D.C. many careers ago. The beer-battered fries and house made honey mustard dressing as dip were incredible. Let's finish this wonderfully as our meal finished with a fresh blackberry cobbler ala more. Wow!!! Just delicious. We can't wait to go back. (2024 August)
Great food and great service! Homemade food it's worth the trip out! Best sandwich I've had in a very long time! Bread was soft and delicious!
